"The histories tell us that Aegon looked across the Blackwater from Dragonstone and saw a rich land ripe for the capture. But ambition alone is not what drove him to conquest. It was a Dream. Since the days of Old Valyria, a precious few in the Targaryen line gifted with prophetic Dreams. Like the one which saved our house from the Doom. And just as Daenys foresaw the end of Valyria, Aegon foresaw the end of the world of men." Viserys narrated, letting out a long sigh.
'It is to begin with a terrible winter gusting out of the distant north. Aegon saw absolute darkness riding on those winds. And whatever dwells within will destroy the world of the living." Viserys narrates.
"What is it? What’s in the darkness?" Aenar asked.
"If Aegon knew, he never said. But he saw that there would be a light brilliant enough to stand against it: the fire of dragons." Viserys rests his hand on his dagger’s dragonbone hilt.
"Whenever this Great Winter comes, Aenar, all of Westeros will have to stand against it. And if the world of men is to survive, a Targaryen must be seated on the Iron Throne. A king strong enough to unite the realm against the cold and dark. Aegon called his Dream 'The Song of Ice and Fire."
"The dream...it was clearer than a memory.
And I heard the sound of thundering hooves, splintering shields and ringing swords.
And I placed my heir upon the Iron Throne,
and all the dragons roared as one. And this heir I believed it was Daemon, but I was wrong, you are my heir. My blood, my brother, and I trust you'll do marvellous things." Viserys boldly states without dithering."A Targaryen who sits the Iron Throne is not just a king. They are a protector of the realm. This is your duty Aenar, to hold the realm in balance, not at the edge of a sword." Viserys strictly tells him.

Aenar inhales deeply, accepting his new fate, he held his head high and fearless, shifting his gaze to his betrothed as Francesa smiles sweetly at him, causing his body to crawl.
"Lord Lyonel Strong, Castellan of Harrenhal." Mellos announced as the Master of Laws steps forward and knees before Maegor.
"I Lyonel Strong, Lord Castellan of Harrenhal. I promise to be faithful to King Viserys and his named heir, the Prince Aenar. I pledge fealty to them, and shall defend them against all enemies in good faith and without deceit. I swear this by the old gods and the new." He pledge his obeisance.
"Rickon Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of The North." Mellos announced as the wolf steps forward.
The grim gray and blue of the Winterfell direwolf approaches the throne. Lord Rickon Stark, a man in his mid 40s kneels before Aenar.
"I Rickon Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of The North. I promise to be faithful to King Viserys and his named heir, the Prince Aenar. I pledge fealty to them, and shall defend them against all enemies in good faith and without deceit. I swear this by the old gods and the new." He pledge his obeisance.
"Gunthor Darklyn, Lord of Duskendale and Protector of Dunfort." Mellos announced.
The proud ambitious man came forward, brusque, hard. Aenar could see through him that he was a cunning man, so he narrowed his eyes towards him brazenly. Gunthor gave long look at him, then bent the kneel and swear fealty to Viserys heir.
"I Gunthor Darklyn, Lord of Duskendale, Protector of the Dunfort. I promise to be faithful to King Viserys and his named heir, the Prince Aenar. I pledge fealty to them, and shall defend them against all enemies in good faith and without deceit. I swear this by the old gods and the new." He pledge his obeisance.
"Lord Yorbert Rocye. Lord of Runestone and protector of the Vale." Mellos announced.
The elderly man in bronze apparel stepped forward and bent the knee., his shoulders sagged and he lowered his head.
"I, Lord Yorbert Rocye. Lord of Runestone and Protector of the Vale. I promise to be faithful to King Viserys and his named heir, the Prince Aenar. I pledge fealty to them, and shall defend them against all enemies in good faith and without deceit. I swear this by the old gods and the new." The man pledged allegiance to the crown.
By the time the lords were done, Aenar turns and looks back at the King. He nods at him, promising to keep his oat. Viserys nods back in a proud but solemn mood.
The High Septon lays a golden collar around Aenar's shoulders as King Viserys stood up from the Iron throne to address his lords, ladies and subjects.
He held his brother's gaze for a moment and felt no ounce of regret. Aenar would be a great King and a better ruler than he was.
"I, Viserys Targaryen, first of his name, King of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm do hereby name Maegor Targaryen, Second of His Name, the Prince of Dragonstone and heir to the Iron Throne." Viserys declares as everyone bows in obeisance.
The twenty eight year old prince, looks out across the lords of the realm that he will be responsible for holding together in years to come and immediately something awakens in him and his dragon Roach, yet his heart beat raced with the thoughts of Alicent Hightower looming in his loins.
However, by at the end of the moon during spring, Prince Aenar Targaryen and Lady Francesca Tully were married in the Sept of Baelor under the eyes of the gods and their union sealed with a kiss of holy matrimony as Alicent Hightower witnessed stood amongst the crowd, watching the bride on the altar with envy and also loathing the man whom she gave her virginity with vile scorn of impunity.
